The Mediterranean Pizza
Переглядів 2792 роки тому
Just a quick pizza in between this week`s blizzards. One of my very favourite flavour combinations to park atop a crust. Inspired decades ago by Spiro`s pizza found in several locations around Western Washington. Been making them ever since. Try it for yourself! Deee-licious. Thanks for watching!
No Soil Seed Starting - Traditional Garden or Hydroponic
Переглядів 3562 роки тому
Here's how I've been starting my seeds for ages. Whether they'll end up in my regular garden beds or my hydroponic buckets, the first few weeks of a plant's life do best in a loose no-soil mix. I also knock together a few DIY soil tampers on the cheap. Seeds are the way to get the most interesting plants into your garden! As always, thanks for watching!

Cornbread & Sage Dressing (not stuffing)
Переглядів 1192 роки тому
A holiday feast classic moved away from dense stuffing cooked inside a turkey to deliciously light cooked on the side. Plenty of eggs give lift with a heap of sage for flavour. Creamy inside, crispy outside, it's so easy you don't need to wait for Thanksgiving. The recipe is more technique and adapts to your pantry and dish. Measurements really aren't needed and change depending how many people...
A Bit Of Cornbread - Just Enough For Today (with a jalapeño option!)
Переглядів 1962 роки тому
Cornbread is easy anytime with only a few pantry staples. From idea to eating in under an hour - half that with a little practice. Only problem is that it doesn’t stay fresh very long and is best eaten right out of the oven or most certainly before the day is over. If you can’t get through a giant twelve-inch round from your big skillet in that day, find a ‘personal-size’ cast iron pan in the e...
